At the end of this course, students will be able to prepare

• Skills in digital illustration, page layout and image scanning
• Develop design craft with basic skills in Adobe
• Conduct visual articulation of data
• Develop cohesive graphical data

Grading Plan

The final grade will be computed as follows:

• % 30 Tests,
• % 60 Class works and assignments,
• % 10 Participation.

Grading policy is tentative and disobeying the classroom rules or procedures may result in grade reduction.  Instructors send Final Grades to Administrator, 3 days after exams.

KIIT Course Description & Objectives

Our Diploma in Graphic Design introduces students to the basic concepts of Graphic Design and to the world of Visual Communication.  Students will explore the concept of Visual Thinking, Elements &Principles of Design and the basics of Typography. This course also familiarizes students with the essential software, Adobe photoshop, Illustrator and in design and builds skills in the area with hands -on lessons.

Topics will include:

• Graphic Design introduction/principles,
• Colour theory,
• Photoshop,
• Corel draw.
