Kodabs Institute of Information Technology (KIIT), is a private institution located in Techiman, the capital of Bono East of Ghana.  KIIT offer diploma and certificate in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTS), Small Business programs and an advanced certificate in Fashion Design.

History

KIIT was established as computer training institute with only 10 students and 3 faculty members.  KIIT was the brainchild of Dr. Stephen Ameyaw (an international development planner). Stephen envisioned that information and communication technology skills would become important in Ghana’s changing job market and in the educational system. With the support from Sunyani Technical University (STU), (formerly known as the Sunyani Polytechnic), leaders, KIIT was launched in 2012.   In 2013 an affiliation agreement was signed between KIIT and STU and in 2018 the fashion design school was added to the KIIT computer program.
