Thank you for visiting our website.  Kodabs Institute of Information Technology (KIIT) is a growing and innovative institution that serves many students coming from the Northern and Brong Ahafo regions of Ghana.

KIIT takes pride in our alumni and we maintain a strong and connection with our graduates.  Our staff keep in contact with our graduates and learn about their post-graduation endeavours. We are grateful that many of our graduates recommend KIIT to their family and friends.

Collaboration has served KIIT well throughout its history and we are committed to strengthen and innovate our affiliation with Sunyani Technical University (STU). Since our inception in 2012, STU leaders have supported KIIT to successfully launch the Information and Communication Technology Education (ICTS) and Fashion Design Programs

KIIT offers a quality information and communication technology and fashion design education.   Through our affiliation with Sunyani Technical University, you can continue your degree at STU through a direct transfer subject to meeting their requirements and achieving the required grade level.

KIIT offers great value. Our students appreciate the small class sizes, access to computers and personal attention from exceptional student -centred- learning (SCL) program and  instructors.  Once you successfully complete your program, you are employment ready.

Why choose KIIT?

KIIT provides skills-based education and training that is highly respected in the community and in the country.

KIIT provides education programs that lead to certificates and diplomas.  In September 2020, the first group of fashion design students who started in 2018,  will transfer to the STU to begin their fashion degree program.

KIIT has an affiliation agreement with Sunyani Technical University (STU) and successful transfer students can access quality education and professional development.

Employers look for prospective employees with hands- on skills experience when hiring and KIIT provides several learning labs so that students can practice their skills and interact with real clients.

KIIT’s practicum office coordinates projects that give our students real-world field experience and training.

Strategic Directions:

KIIT will continue to:

  • Provide life-long education and training that produces graduates with the skills necessary to sustain individual career success in the job market;
  • Provide employers and communities with the skilled-based students addressing current and future needs; and

  • Promote education and skills training that will lead to the creation of employment opportunities.

Students are the most important priority on the KIIT campus.  We strive to ensure that all students are successful.

Several NGOS, Church groups, private sector and individuals have donated funds and resources to support students from under privileged backgrounds at KIIT.  If you are interested in supporting a student, please contact the secretary at KIIT office.

I encourage you to visit our campus and learn more about the opportunities available.

Sincerely,

Stephen Ameyaw
